Rotary International End Polio Now Logo © RIInternational has a remit to help the disadvantaged of the world. It provides a global perspective to our local club scene. We collect spectacles for Vision Aid and tools for Self Reliance, while fund raising to support Jaipur Limbs in Sri Lanka and Haiti.

Foundation is Rotary´s charity and its main aim is to eradicate polio in the world and it has been very successful with the immunisation programme, so much so that India has had a year free of polio for the first time.

Santa and the Elves Collecting in December 2016 © ICMAt Christmas time the Santa Sleigh event is very popular and this year raised £5,231.33, thanks to local businesses and the general public and the beneficiaries were local and national charities and groups such as Strathcarron Hospice. All the money raised is disbursed.

RI President John F. Germ chose Rotary Serving Humanity as his theme for 2016-17. Noting Rotary´s unique ability to bring together committed professionals to achieve remarkable goals, Germ believes that “now is the time to capitalize on our success: as we complete the eradication of polio, and catapult Rotary forward to be an even greater force for good in the world.” Rotary Making a Difference © RI
